| LOVEYAMORE ONE START ONE WIN! (1st February 2026)
Progressive 3YO filly Loveyamore commenced her racing career in fine style saluting impressively at Sale at her very first run on Sunday Feb 1 with the promise of further successes ahead. The Daughter of Toronado, out of our home bred Mare Bella Amore (Snitzel/Loveyamadly) showed an impressive turn of foot in the straight to leave her rivals in her wake scoring by three and a quarter lengths being eased down on the line. Starting a touch slow from a middle gate, Loveyamore was able to get a nice track into the race following the more favourite runners, and on the turn, looked like she had plenty to offer. On straightening and aided by a gem of a ride by Zac Spain, Zac was able to extricate off the fence from behind the leaders into clear going and Loveyamore sprinted quickly and put the race to bed in a flash racing away to put a 3-length margin on her rivals to win very convincingly. Loveyamore is the first foal of our Metropolitan home bred Mare in Bella Amore, a Daughter of Loveyamadly and looks to have an exciting future ahead. Loveyamore has come a long way in a short space of time and 8 weeks ago was likely to be heading to the paddock showing immature signs and was very green in her work. Adding to the frustration was picking up niggling little injuries along the way, however a bit of perseverance in getting those little setbacks under control found Loveyamore improve in her greenness in every gallop that she did on the track which culminated in Sunday’s success and a testament to her obvious natural ability. She will be placed to advantage being so early on in her racing career with a lovely Vobis Silver 1200 metre BM64 for fillies at Caulfield on Wednesday February 18 a possible option. Her record currently stands at the perfect score of one start for one win and $23,375 in stakes! |
