| ROYAL CHARADES WINS AGAIN.
Smart 4yo Royal Charades gave her many owners another thrill at Pakenham on Tuesday 10th Feb by winning most impressively the 0-78 rated race over 1000 meters. Well ridden by apprentice jockey Nick Mehmet Royal Charades settled towards the rear of the field before slowly working into the race just prior to the turn. On straightening the 4yo wobbled to the centre of the track but unwound a sustained run in the straight to score running away by a length from Annie’s Courage with Spinning Lady a short distance away third in a most impressive time of 58.44 sec. This is an excellent result for her army of owners who have been patient and now rewarded by a horse that does possess a good deal of ability. Her prize money is now starting to edge up towards the $30,000 mark and has now earned a tilt at a city race in just over a fortnight’s time.
