| CITY SUCCESS FOR ROYAL CHARADES.
Lovely 4yo mare Royal Charades certainly earned a crack at city success after two most impressive country wins recently and in a hard fought effort didn’t let her army of supporters down at Sandown on Feb 25. Ridden perfectly to instructions by apprentice Nick Mehmet the mare was well placed up on the lead and was bumped at the turn and tackled hard in the straight by Choisism but fought long and hard to stick her big neck out to score in a driving finish. Royal Charades is starting to create an imposing record particularly over 1000 meters where she has had 6 starts over that distance for 5 wins and a third for overall prize money of just over $46,000 which is an excellent result. She will continue to race in similar type races over the ensuing weeks and is definitely a horse to follow as she is clearly a most consistent galloper.
