SOFT WIN FOR PRINCESS CAROLINA..

Much to the delight of her many owners PRINCESS CAROLINA made up for her luckless last start second at Echuca by recording a very soft win at Mornington on January 24.The daughter of More Than Ready never looked liked losing, travelling beautifully throughout the run settling just behind the leader SHEEZA CONDOLEEZZA before young apprentice Andrew Mallyon peeled out down the side, took the lead on straightening and raced away to score impressively by three and a half lengths. It was a well deserved win for the filly and for the syndicate who have been patient in giving her plenty of time to mature up. Desperately unlucky at her previous run PRINCESS CAROLINA was squeezed out at the start, going back to last yet finished full of running to go under just over a length in an eye catching performance that had "Back me next start" written all over her.Rumour has it that judging by the smiles all round after the race that's exactly what PRINCESS CAROLINA'S owners did-Well done to all!
