OUR GOLD BULLION BREAKS THROUGH..

Staying horse Our Gold Bullion broke through for a well deserved win at Wangarratta Friday and showed his army of supporters that the faith everyone placed in him may pay dividends in the future. Purchased for $60,000 at the New Zealand Karaka sales this outstanding looking son of most underrated sire Pentire is just starting to find his way now after some typical staying immaturity problems early on. His effort Friday was very good in that he got involved in an early scrimmage just going out of the straight the first time before slotting to about 5th/6th in the run. From there jockey Dale Smith had the 4yo always travelling well and although he looked as though he would pick them up and spit them out in the straight his immaturity made it a battle for Dale who just got him there on the line. This horse will be taken along slowly this prep in an endeavor to allow him to learn his craft but appears a very nice horse particularly for next prep when these types of stayers seem to hit their straps!
