| COMIC COMPOSER BOLTS IN AT GEELONG.
Stravinsky 3yo Comic Composer appreciated the firmer surface on offer at Geelong on Friday 3rd July to absolutely bolt in Heat 3 of the Winter Challenge Synthetic Series. Aided by a 10 out of 10 ride by Craig Newitt Comic Composer always travelled sweetly in third/fourth spot throughout before Craig decided to get moving at the 600 meter mark. At the turn Craig took control of the race and put pay to his opposition in the blink of an eye and Comic Composer strode away, still strong on the line to win by 2 lengths from the David Hayes trained Leoncavallo with Johadina filling the minor spot. Comic Composer ran well first up, completely unsuited to the heavy ground on offer at Tatura and made amends at Geelong much to the delight of his Syndicate of owners. Comic Composer will now be set for the $50,000 Final of the series which will be held at Geelong on Friday 23rd July.
