| COMIC COMPOSER BOUNCES BACK.
After a couple of indifferent runs our NZ 4yo Comic Composer bounced back into the winners stall at Traralgon on Sunday 12th December by winning the $22,500 Latrobe City Country Showcase 0-72 Hcp over 1430 meters. Beginning well from an inside gate jockey Brian Park always had Comic Composer travelling well in the lead and he kicked nicely on the point of the turn and held on to win by a neck from the well tried St Sambrose who made good late ground. It was refreshing to see this horse back in the winners stall and his efforts to lead all of the way with the steadier of 58kg was full of merit. Comic Composer has now had 11 starts for 4 wins,3 seconds and a third for just over $80,000 in stakes and is proving to be a most consistent galloper and a good money spinner for connections.
