| LOVEYAMADLY STROLLS IN AT CAULFIELD. (28th January 2013)
Brilliant were the words used Saturday for the Syndicates’ special sprinting mare Loveyamadly who basically toyed with a smart group of mares at Caulfield on Sat Jan 26 to record a soft win. Starting from an outside gate, jockey Dale Smith again rode to script by having Loveyamadly jumping well and sitting right on the speed outside the leader Slewsay.Just prior to the turn Dale started to make his move cruising past Slewsay at the top of the straight and a couple of confident looks around gave everyone the confidence that Dale had everyone covered and Loveyamadly went on to score impressively on the line by just on a length and a half from Riviere who ran well with Vain Attraction filling third spot. Plenty of accolades need to be bestowed on our unheralded jockey Dale Smith who has been with Loveyamadly from the get go and has ridden her to perfection all throughout her career to date.Loveyamadly’s success is a just reward for a jockey who continues to exude an outstanding work ethic and personally it is a delight to see him reaping the rewards for all of his hard work as a track jockey each and every week at Caulfield. Black type now beckons this daughter of Bel Esprit and she will hopefully now have a crack for that honor in the GROUP 3 Bellmaine Stakes at Caulfield on Sat Feb 9.For the record Loveyamadly’s impressive records extends to 6 starts for 4 wins,1 second and a third for stakes of $132,388. |
