| LE BONSIR MAKES IT A TWO STATE DOUBLE. (4th April 2013)
Genuine 5yo gelding Le Bonsir made it a United Syndications two state double on the weekend when he took out the $50,000 Open Adelaide Galvanising Hcp over 1200 meters at Morphettville on March 2.With our grand mare Loveyamadly scoring in track record time at Flemington some 3 hours previous it was up to Le Bonsir to make it a double and that he did in emphatic fashion. Jumping from barrier 4 jockey Clare Lindop rode a superb race and had Le Bonsir on the fence in the early stages and from that point she was left alone in front to rate Le Bonsir and it was clear that he was travelling like the winner prior to the turn. On straightening Clare released the breaks and Le Bonsir bounded away to score effortlessly by just on 3 lengths in a time of 1.08.70 which was only half a second outside Navy Shakers track record of 1.08.21.This has been a fantastic prep for Le Bonsir and the best to date having had 8 starts this time in for now 3 wins (two Metropolitan and a Country Showcase),a second and a third for $122,200 in stakes with overall prize money now of $162,750.This is an outstanding result and great reward for this particular Syndicate as it is the last of their GROUP winning mare La Bella Dame’s progeny having lost Damselfly to a lightning strike a couple of months previous when in foal. It is now up to the final member of the family-a Sebring/Damselfly filly that will be raced by the Syndicate to carry on the strength of the family in the coming years!
