| TWO IN A ROW FOR ROYAL CHARADES.
Royal Academy three year old Royal Charades made it two in a row in a devastating win at Ballarat on the 26th October. Well ridden again by jockey Dale Smith the filly settled back from her wide draw before unleashing a powerful finishing burst to win running away by over three lengths defeating ACATABOVE who ran well for second and GAZELLA who hung on to run third. Her ability to settle back and run home showed that she is not one dimensional as she had been ridden for speed at her previous two runs and this versatility will obviously become very important as she gets stepped up into better company. She will now head to Flemington to race over the Spring Carnival on Oaks day where she will be given the opportunity to earn Black Type in the $150,000 Listed 1200 Schweppervesence Stakes for three year old Fillies.
