BELLA AMORE RETURNS A WINNER..  BELLA AMORE RETURNS A WINNER..

Gorgeous Mare Bella Amore returned to the winners stall narrowly but impressively on Sunday 18th April by taking out the 0-58 O'Connor Premium Beef Handicap on the Pakenham Synthetic in what was an excellent first up performance. Drawing an awkward gate but jumping well, Bella Amore was expected to settle mid field, however with the speed on, instead found herself last at the 600 meter mark with a lot of work to do. Credit goes to her rider Patrick Moloney who didn’t panic and instead, allowed the Mare to fully settle and get into a rhythm rather than kicking up and trying to hold a spot which would have placed her out of her comfort zone. Just prior to the turn Patrick extricated Bella Amore to the extreme outside and she let down with a very good long sustained run to hold off the Shane Nicholls trained That Song by a long neck with Amusing Magnus filling third. It was an excellent return to racing for Bella Amore who simply lost her way last prep with wet tracks ,wide draws and a failed trip to Adelaide which did not allow any real consistency to her racing. A nice break and a re start has brought immediate rewards and should give this Mare the confidence that she needs to now go right on with it. A stunning Snitzel home bred, out of our Stakes winning Mare Loveyamadly, Bella Amore is destined for a successful career at stud herself later in the year being a full Sister to the GROUP 3 Mc Neil Stakes winner Immortal Love and is from the highly successful Beauty World dam line, who apart from Loveyamadly, has produced a further 6 individual Stakes horses including Lite’n In My Veins, Hi World, Ducimus, American Crew, Where's Wally and more recently Written Beauty. Bella Amore and has now had the 14 starts for 2 wins, 1 second and 2 thirds for $80,265 in stakes.
