FIGHTING HARADA DOES IT AGAIN..  FIGHTING HARADA DOES IT AGAIN..

Highly talented 5YO Sprinting gelding Fighting Harada continued on his merry way at Bendigo Saturday 27th March by unleashing his normal customary devastating finishing sprint to win the No Fuss Event Hire BM 78 on Bendigo Guineas day by just on 2 lengths in yet another impressive performance. It has been well documented the length of time (866 days) that this gelding had been off the scene for a variety of issues that curtailed his racing career in his three and four year old seasons, however this big hulking son of Fighting Sun is now putting it all together and making up for lost time for his wonderfully patient owners. Jockey Dean Yendall, who has developed a real affinity with this horse had Fighting Harada box seating from an inside draw and was always travelling well throughout and when the gap appeared on straightening, Dean drove Fighting Harada straight through and he went on to score by just on two lengths, easing down on the line from the Gai Waterhouse trained Faretti with Donít Tell Dory running well to finish third. For once, everything has gone right with Fighting Harada this time around and this prep has also gone 100% to plan with the programming where the races just lined up in order for Fighting Harada to progress through his grades and Saturdayís win was his third in succession. Kudos again must be given to Matthew Williams, who is such an important part of Mick Price Racing, in particular at Mick and Michael Kentís Warrnambool base for an outstanding job in rehabbing and assisting in preparing Fighting Harada in between his races. Fighting Harada is continuing to build an impressive race record which now stands at 11 starts for 5 wins, 2 seconds and a third for $202,840 in stakes and is certainly a horse to be followed with confidence as he continues to progress through this prep!
