UNDOUBTEDLY SO MAKES UP FOR LOST TIME..  UNDOUBTEDLY SO MAKES UP FOR LOST TIME..

Diminutive homebred filly Undoubtedly So showed that determination over size was the all important factor in her impressive 3YO Maiden win at Warrnambool Friday 8th November. Having a late start to life being a November 29 foal, Undoubtedly So was behind the eight ball physically from the start, but her courage and determination to succeed has seen her make up for her lack of size tenfold, and this lovely Daughter of Not A Single Doubt looks to have a bright future ahead. A filly that wasnít sold on life at Caulfield, she was moved down to Mick Price and Michael Kentís Warrnambool beach facilities under Matthew Williams expert care and this move has seen this filly thrive and improve accordingly. Her first up run at Hamilton 12th October when finishing third was very good, being ridden back from a wide gate but powered to the line late and did put the writing on the wall that a win was imminent. Given time after her first run to her second, Undoubtedly So continued to thrive and improved considerably from Hamiltonís experience and looked every inch a race horse when jockey Jack Hill extricated Undoubtedly So to the center of the track and the Not A Single Doubt filly stormed home and hit the line strong to score well, from ironically the two Matthew Williams trained horses in I Dream Of Jenna and Intellective. It never ceases to amaze me that how a bit of thought, care and horse sense can improve horses, particularly when the horse in question has only ever wanted to please. Undoubtedly So has been a classic example of this and has always been a delight to handle and educate but just needed that extra help that Mick and Michael have been able to provide via their Warrnambool facilities. A great reward for ever loyal and long term owners, I am sure that this will not be the last time that this filly finds her way to the winners stall!
